Tessa Brackett
Caring. Conscientious. Committed.
Tess, a native of England, began taking Shadow Yoga classes and learning about Ayurveda 20 years ago whilst recovering from a car accident. She felt an immediate curiosity and affinity to both Yoga and Ayurveda, and both remain a central part of her daily life.
After her injuries, Tess was inspired to retrain as a Complimentary Massage Therapist. She opened her own holistic massage business, and found that she loved caring for people by nurturing their connection to their bodies. Through her work and her own experience, Tess understood the importance of the 1:1 healing relationship and also witnessed the profound impact of a holistic approach to health.
New Chapter
In 2011, Tess and her husband began a new chapter and moved to MA to adopt a sibling group and not long after came Scrappy, their rescue pup. Living in Harvard, MA, Tess has deepened her connection to the natural world and finds profound nourishment being surrounded by nature. She finds immense joy exploring new trails, tending her garden, kayaking or buying freshly picked, prana-filled produce at local farm stands!
Stateside, Tess widened her understanding of whole health practices with a formal certification in Ayurveda (AHC - Ayurvedic Health Counselor, 650 hours) and Yoga (YTT - Yoga Teacher Training, 500 hours).
Offerings
Tess offers 1:1 Ayurvedic consultations, Ayurvedic Yoga, Breathing Practices, Kitchen Pantry Organisation and Cooking Classes.
Tessa’s greatest hope is to tailor Ayurveda’s incredible wisdom, to help guide you to shift and evolve, feel more connected, balanced and whole! Let her nurture you to thrive!
“Tess and her Ayurvedic expertise were the missing ingredients to my kitchen and life! After trying several diet routines, lifestyle rituals, and food organizational techniques, Tess taught me how to implement enriching and sustaining processes that seamlessly work together.
As you work with Tess you will experience how inviting she is, the gift of her comprehensive Ayurvedic knowledge, the natural way in which she delivers it, and will have fun applying what you learn about your own constitution (inside and outside of your kitchen).
She is the gem you have been searching for!”
